The Challenge

GrowthHive was a well-respected management consulting firm with two decades of expertise — but the internet didn't know they existed. Their entire lead pipeline came from referrals and personal networks. Zero organic traffic. Zero content presence. Zero authority positioning online. This wasn't just a missed opportunity — it was a vulnerability. As competitors invested heavily in digital authority, GrowthHive was invisible for every high-value search term in their space. "Management consulting firms," "business growth strategy," "operational efficiency consulting" — their competitors owned page one while GrowthHive didn't even rank in the top 100. With a partnership transition approaching and the need to attract a new generation of clients, the status quo was no longer viable.

Our Strategy

We designed a comprehensive content architecture built on the topic cluster model. Starting with extensive keyword research, we identified 200+ target keywords across three core pillars: growth strategy, operational excellence, and leadership transformation. We mapped these keywords into 8 topic clusters with 50+ individual content pieces, each strategically designed to capture search intent at different stages of the buyer journey — from awareness ("what is operational efficiency") to decision ("how to choose a management consulting firm"). An internal linking architecture was designed to consolidate authority and guide readers through the content ecosystem. A 12-month content calendar was developed with publishing velocity targets: 8 foundational articles in month one, then 4-6 articles per month ongoing.

Execution

We built a custom blog platform on Next.js with Sanity CMS, implementing full schema markup and programmatic meta tags for every piece of content. The platform was designed for content operations at scale — draft workflows, scheduled publishing, and automated internal linking suggestions.

In the first 60 days, we published 30 foundational articles, each 2,000-3,000 words, meticulously optimized for target keywords while maintaining GrowthHive's authoritative voice. A resource library was built to capture email addresses with gated whitepapers and frameworks.

We set up a newsletter system through Mailchimp, launched a weekly digest, and established content distribution workflows across LinkedIn. Every piece of content was written with a "content-to-conversion" pathway — guiding readers from insight to consultation.
